Another Quite night a good time to go play some darts. I like going to places where I feel comfortable, great atmosphere, one or two boards where I can work on my game and maybe get a game in with someone. Getting started I work on one number that I am not good at and one number that I am good at , this will get me warmed up. I am doing great so I decide to play a game with guy that is just practicing also. We play the best of three 501. I seem to be bouncing out a lot so I test my point for sharpness. Well guess what the point is very dull, so I have a square sharpener because I use Voks darts and the point is a flat point so I go back and forth a few times on the stone and it is sharp. If I were using points that are round I would use a barrel sharpener going in a circle a few times and the point is very sharp. To use a battery operated sharpener I would put the point in the hole and the sharpener will work very fast and get the point very sharp!
